Paste åäö-characters in query-tool

Hi ,

 

I'm trying to paste text/commands containing the characters å,ä,ö into the query tool, for example the word Södertälje, but when pasted it looks like this: S√∂dert√§lje.

 

I'm running v1.8.2 rev:7032 on MacOS X 10.5.2

I do not have this problem if I go back to v1.8.0 but it shows up in v.1.8.1.
