What version of the agent do you have? If you run pgagent --help, does it list the -s option?

Regards Dave,

Hi Dave,

When I run pgagent --help, no help text is provided. Instead a new process pgagent is launched.

In fact I compiled locally the sources from http://www.postgresql.org/ftp/pgadmin3/release/v1.4.3/fedora-core-4/srpm/, because I found empty the directory http://www.postgresql.org/ftp/pgadmin3/release/v1.4.3/fedora-core-4/rpms/ . Maybe helps.

Yes, the -s option was added for 1.6. The 1.4 series is unsupported now - you should grab a copy of 1.6.2: http://www.postgresql.org/ftp/pgadmin3/release/v1.6.2/

Regards, Dave
