installing on mandriva 7

Hello , Im trying to install pgadmin3 on mandriva 7 , but I got the
follow message 
configure: error: Could not find your PostgreSQL installation
in /var/lib/pgsql/data/

anyone has the same problem ? 

I now that is the rigth path for the PostgreSQL server directory.
