OSX crash - edit data

Using 1.2.2 OSX 10.3.9, English.

Every time try to edit data in any table PGAdmin crashes.

also, if I try to filter data and type in something to filter by, no 
text appears within the field. However, if I click "validate" it shows 
the string I typed in. So the application simply doesn't display the 
text typed in.
